The much-anticipated Vande Metro has been officially renamed as "Namo Bharat Rapid Rail" by Indian Railways. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the country's first Namo Bharat Rapid Rail service in Gujarat today, a day before his birthday. Vande Metro The Namo Bharat Rapid Rail will connect Bhuj, located in Gujarat's Kutch district, with Ahmedabad, one of the state's largest cities, covering a distance of 360 kilometres in just under six hours. The train is capable of running at a maximum speed of 110 kilometres per hour and will make multiple stops, including at key stations such as Anjar, Gandhidham, Bhachau, Samakhiali, Halvad, Dhrangadhra, Viramgam, Chandlodiya, Sabarmati, and finally Kalupur in Ahmedabad. Former US President Donald Trump narrowly escaped an alleged assassination attempt on Sunday in Florida, according to the FBI. A 58-year-old suspect, Ryan Wesley Routh, was arrested after Secret Service agents opened fire near the boundary of Trump's golf course. A high-powered AK-47-style rifle with a scope and a GoPro camera was recovered at the scene. Everyone Over 70 To Be Covered Under Health Insurance Scheme

The Union government has approved health coverage to everyone who is 70 and above under the national insurance scheme Ayushman Bharat. Ayushman Bharat scheme The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a statement said the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) will benefit 4.5 crore families with six crore senior citizens. The free cover is worth ₹ 5 lakh and will be on a family basis. "With this approval, all senior citizens of the age 70 years and above irrespective of their socio- economic status would be eligible to avail the benefits of AB PM-JAY. The eligible senior citizens would be issued a new distinct card under AB PM-JAY," the government said in the statement. Senior citizens of the age 70 years and above belonging to families already covered under AB PM-JAY will get an additional top-up cover up to ₹ 5 lakh per year for themselves (which they do not have to share with other members of the family who are below the age of 70...
